Depending on your politics, CNN anchor Jake Tapper has either emerged as an unlikely hero or unnecessary distraction this week as he has promoted his new book, “Original Sin,” about the alleged coverup of President Joe Biden’s health.
“That non-functioning Biden reared his head more and more,” Tapper said.
Tapper has been all gas, no breaks, since his book — centered around Biden’s 2024 presidential reelection campaign and the alleged coverup of his health and mental acuity struggles — released this week. Tapper reported that the Biden family protected the president and “lied” to the American public about the depth of the now-82-year-old man’s health decline.
No one has been safe from criticism on the book, especially not Biden’s son Hunter, who Tapper criticized.
“Hunter was driving the decision-making for the family,” Tapper said in one interview. “It's bizarre because I think he is provably, demonstrably, unethical, sleazy, and prone to horrible decisions.”
“After his brother died, he cheated on his wife with his brother’s widow, and then got her addicted to crack,” Tapper added. “That’s just one thing I could say.”
And nothing — not even Biden’s cancer diagnosis — has deterred Tapper from a relentless media blitz for the ages.
